Her academic pursuits took her to UCLA, the Sorbonne in Paris, and the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico, where she delved into art history, expanding her knowledge and passion for art. While her passion for art never waivered, Laura made a critical career choice to utilize her business savvy and financial acumen at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, where she earned her MBA.
Laura's career in finance as a fiduciary, with roles at JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo as Vice President and Portfolio Manager, gave her a unique perspective on the intersection of finance and art. Recognizing the need for a bridge between these two worlds, she founded her own art advisory firm. For over a decade, Laura has been an advocate for clients, helping them explore the vast world of contemporary art and make informed decisions, still acting in a fiduciary advisor role.
As an invited member of the APAA (Association of Professional Art Advisors), the only standard-setting, professional organization for the art advisory industry, Laura upholds the code of ethics with the highest regard because of her unwavering dedication to her clients.
