In MUTUALISTS KISS, Donna Huanca merges layers of performance, photography, and painting to evoke the body as both memory and surface. Overpainting photographs of live performers, Huanca creates a tactile skin of oil and sand, blurring the boundary between image and presence. The work reflects her ongoing interest in ritual, transformation, and the cyclical rhythms of nature and embodiment.
